Ft. Clements, named after Rad’s close friend, the late Jim Clements, Master Model Railroader #351, conducts special operations training for joint military units. Training is conducted in the nearby M. Link National Park area. Training is conducted on a “need to know” basis. A fuel depot, maintenance & warehouse facilities, equipment loading dock, and munitions bunker are serviced by the MIO System.
The sounds of tanks and other military vehicle entering the mountain training site can be heard throughout the area. (Note: A sound system has been placed in the mountain along with fiber optics coming from tank turrets.)
