Chicago is a major passenger yard with engine servicing facilities. Two through passenger mainline tracks pass through the lower level of Chicago Union Station. A third spur track also serves passengers. A postal facility spur provides regular movement of mail and express packages to the post office on street level across from Chicago Union Station.
Buildings in Chicago are lite with a number of Miller lighted commercial signs. The city lights are a pleasure to see after nightfall.
